I’m a social change activist, a professional trainer and entrepreneur in a hurry. I’m also an author and a columnist. Strangely, I’m actually a qualified civil engineer from Adelaide University, Australia and I’ve been working in the water industry for 5 years before discovering that what I really wanted was to impact people and to make a real and lasting difference to Malaysia via education.
So I left engineering, went off to work for one of the world’s premier personal development organizations, Dale Carnegie Training and learned a brand new profession from scratch. A year later, founded Education Republic as a means for social empowerment, as a champion for effective and worthwhile corporate training and as a face for an ongoing effort to empower Malaysians.
In our journey to achieve a nationwide education revamp, we are now focused on assisting individuals and companies to achieve their full potential. We are partnered with many highly talented business people and trainers who truly care about our community.
Our strength is our deep passion for what we do and our ability to move people to action with life changing skills and doing it with fun, energy and impact. Our goal is to be in a position to influence a change in Malaysia’s education system by 2019 and to turn Education Republic into the best adult education and corporate soft skills training organization in Malaysia by 2013.
